There’s More to Taste: more rituals, more cheer, more Lavazza

The world of tennis and Lavazza continue their alliance, adding a new page to the Grand Slam story. Because they have much more in common than one might imagine: they share common values, such as tradition and excellence.

For the sixth year running, in addition to the passion of spectators, Wimbledon will be offering all the flavour of the authentic Lavazza espresso. An icon of style and taste that epitomises and accompanies the unique atmosphere of the legendary tournament, “The Championships”.

And again, this year the stands of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club will enjoy an experience packed with taste, just like an authentic Italian espresso. Packed with taste and history, just as the first tournament in 1877, a story told alongside other curious facts on Lavazza’s online magazine: Coffee Passion.

That’s why since 2011 coffee breaks at the tennis tournament have become a habit, a ritual followed by everyone between matches or in the famous Queue to buy tickets.

Defending his title we’ll find Novak Djokovic, a veteran of two victorious finals against Roger Federer.
A victory would give the Serb his third Championships title in a row. Whilst the Ladies’ Singles will see the oldest winner of a Grand Slam, Serena Williams, going in search of her seventh Wimbledon win.

Lavazza will be there. And it’ll be in the front row experiencing every shot of the perfectly executed matches and the breathtaking exchanges of the passionate games, adding a touch of flavour to the emotions of the players and all the tournament’s visitors.
